Q: What is the benefit of hiring Wedding Plan Review over a full service wedding planner?
A: Wedding planners are an invaluable resource for planning a wedding, but the good ones are fairly expensive - and for good reason - planning a wedding is a lot of work! Our services are designed for those brides that want to have more of a hand in planning in their own wedding and to save money.

Q: When is the best time in the planning process to use your services?
A: There are several ideal times for using Wedding Plan Review services. The first is before you've started doing a thing. We will sit with you and create a fully customized month-by-month wedding checklist. If you've already begun planning, using WPR before the invitations are printed is ideal. This allows us to review your agenda, your locations, your menu, your accommodation recommendation and your attendees list before committing them all to paper. Lastly, within one-to-two months of the wedding. It's only at this time that all the little teeny, tiny details start flooding in and becoming important. We can help you manage those.
Q: What is the fee for using your service?
A: Our fees are flat, one time fees and are very low. They range depending on how far along you are in the planning process and what different aspects you need assistance with. To determine what package best suits you we will do a fifteen minute phone evaluation and submit a formal proposal. We are confident that the low fee will be priceless against the knowledge and assurance you will have that your day will be flawless.
Q: What is the benefit of hiring a Day of Wedding Manager?
A: Your wedding day should be about you celebrating your love with your family and your friends. You want everyone to have a good time, to eat, drink and be merry! Friends can make good planners - but often times they are better suited just to celebrate with. There is a
constant flow of "behind the scenes" action that makes a wedding day what it is. Most venues will offer an in-house Day of Manager, but if they don't, we highly recommend using Wedding Plan Review's Day of Wedding Management Service.

Q: Can you give an example of something that might cost extra money?
A: Of course! We site hundreds of example, but here are just a few:
Last Minute Alterations: One of our fabulous brides opted for a dress that did not have a bustle sewn in. This means her long train would follow her throughout the evening and would have made it very hard for her to dance and walk around the tables to greet all her guests. At the last minute we found a tailor that specializes in wedding and formal gowns. The cost to add a bustle and tailor the bodice: over $300! Had she requested it early on, she could have received a much lower price.
- Venue Contracts: One very good friend of mine did not read her venue contract closely enough and didn't realize that the venue was only booked until 10pm. But at 9:45pm everyone was still dancing and having a great time. The Father of the Bride had to get his checkbook to pay the venue to stay open for just one additional hour. The final cost for that one extra hour: $1500. Wedding Plan Review can assist in negotiating contracts so moments like this are already planned for and accommodated in the contract.
- Gifts and Favors: Last minute gifts always cost more and take more time. Planning ahead for favors, bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts, gifts for the mothers and fathers is ideal. One bride waited until the last minute for her wedding favors and ended up driving to three different stores gathering supplies and stayed up until 2:30am the day before the rehearsal dinner assembling her gifts. Give yourself time to shop around, and if you are going to do your own gifts, plan a fun "Favor Party" with girlfriends in advance!
